We are Glenammer Sieve Limited, a laboratory test sieve manufacturer registered in Scotland, UK. These are the terms on which we sell goods to you. These terms and conditions will apply to all the sales that we process.
Please read the terms and conditions carefully and ensure you understand them fully before making a purchase on the site. You will be asked to content to these terms before every purchase on the site. By clicking agree, you are accepting these terms.

Goods

The description of goods is as set out on the website, price lists, catalogues, brochures or other forms of advertisement. Any marketing materials are for illustrative purpose only and there may be small discrepancies in the size and colour pf the goods supplied.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of the goods that appear in the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.

We are not responsible if information made available on our website is not accurate, complete or current. The material is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information.

When registering to use the website you are required to set up a username and password. You remain responsible for your actions taken under the chosen username and password and undertake not to disclose your username and password to anyone else.

Basis of sale

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us.

The order process is set out on the website. Each step allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting the order. It is your responsibility to check that you have used the ordering process correctly.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate order and account information for all purchases made at our store.

An Order Acknowledgement will be sent to you once your order has been confirmed. You must make sure all the information is complete and accurate and inform us immediately of any errors.

Any quotation is valid for a maximum period of three months from its date, unless we explicitly withdraw it at an earlier time.
Price and Payment

The price of the goods, shipping costs and any additional charges are set on the website at the time of purchase.

Prices for the goods are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the service without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuous of the service.

Prices and charges are including VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the order.

You can either pay online through a gateway provider (Stripe) or pay us offline by bank transfer.

If you choose online payment, your transactions are processed through a third-party gateway provider. We will not store your credit/debit card details. More terms can be found in Privacy Policy.

If you choose offline payment, your first order is to be paid on Proforma invoice before goods are dispatched. Orders thereafter will be invoiced with a 30 days payment term.
Delivery

We endeavour to deliver the goods, to the delivery location within the estimated delivery time.

We use UPS to ship worldwide. All deliveries are tracked with tracking number. You need to inform our sales team if you require a specific shipper or shipping method, and pay for supplementary cost arising from this choice.

For any international (outside the United Kingdom) delivery, you are obligated to pay import duties and taxes, as we will not pay them.

All deliveries require the receiver’s signature as a proof of delivery. If you or your nominee fail, through no fault of ours, to take delivery of the goods at the shipping address you provided, we may charge the reasonable cost of storing and redelivering.

The goods will become your responsibility from the completion of delivery or customer collection. You must, examine the goods before accepting them.
Risk and title

Risk of damage to, or loss of, goods will pass to you when they are signed for by you.

You do not own the goods until we have received payment in full. If full payment is overdue or a situation occurs where you cannot make the payment, we can choose, by notice to cancel any delivery and end any right to use the goods still owned by Glenammer, in which case you must return them or allow us to collect them.
Withdrawal, cancellation and return
Withdrawal:
You can withdraw the order any time before receiving Order Acknowledgement from us, without incurring any liability. You are free to do so by contacting our sales team at sales@glenammer.com or phone +44 1292 261 444
Cancellation:

You can cancel your order before goods are dispatched. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you place the order with us.

You must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement setting out your decision (an email and a letter).

We will reimburse to you all the payments received, including the costs of delivery (except for any collection).

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Cancellation conditions do not apply for the following circumstances:

The goods are bespoke, personalised or made to your specifications

The goods are non-standard items.
Return:

To be eligible for a return, the goods must be unused and in the same condition that you received them. The original package, receipt or proof of purchase need to be kept.

The return/refund period will expire 14 days from the day you receive the goods.
Return conditions do not apply for the following circumstances:

The goods are bespoke, personalised or made to your specifications

The goods are non-standard items.

Goods which are non-physical i.e. sieve calibration

Products not manufactured on our premises

Conformity and Warranty

We have the legal duty to supply the goods that comply with the industry standards.

Upon delivery, the goods will:

Be of satisfactory quality

Conform to their description

We offer lifelong warranty, on manufacturing defects for Test Sieve product only.
Excluding Liability
Glenammer Sieves Limited is not liable for:

Loss which was not reasonably foreseeable to both parties.

Loss (loss of profit for example) to the customer’s business, trade, craft or profession.
Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Complaints

The agreement is governed by the law of the United Kingdom
-
Disputes can be submitted to jurisdiction of the court of the United Kingdom.

We try to avoid any dispute, so we will deal with complaints in the following way: if a dispute occurs, customer should contact our complaints officer Mrs Claire Wallis (Claire.Wallis@glenammer.com) to find a solution. We will aim to respond with an appropriate solution within 3 working days.
