Glenammer Calibration Certificates
We would like to remind you of some important details regarding sieve calibration certificates. To ensure these certificates are fully compliant and carry weight in accredited laboratories, please take note of the following:
1. Measurement Uncertainty: It is essential that the certificate clearly mentions measurement uncertainty. This is crucial for maintaining metrological traceability. Without it, the certificate cannot be considered reliable for precise measurements.
2. Traceability: A certificate that does not report uncertainty breaks the chain of traceability, rendering it unusable for accredited laboratories.
3. Signed Certificate: The certificate should always be signed. If it is not signed, it suggests a lack of review, which raises issues for accreditation. Human involvement, such as placing the sieve, can affect measurements, so the review and signing of the certificate is critical.
Your customers should ensure that all calibration certificates meet these standards to maintain quality and compliance.
