ISO/IEC 17025 is the internationally recognised standard for testing and calibration laboratories. UKAS accreditation demonstrates that Glenammer Sieves Ltd meets stringent requirements for technical competence, quality management, traceability to national and international standards, and reliable measurement uncertainty reporting.

UKAS Accredited Sieve Calibration Services

Glenammer offers UKAS accredited calibration services for laboratory test sieves used in quality control, research and compliance applications.

1. UKAS calibration of new Glenammer test sieves supplied with full certification
2. Recalibration of used sieves of any make returned to Glenammer
3. Optical measurement techniques with documented measurement uncertainty
4. Traceable calibration results accepted worldwide

Glenammer Decision Rules

To account for measurement uncertainty, we constrain the measured values that can be considered acceptable to only values which fall within the acceptance interval for each measurement. The difference between the acceptance interval and the tolerance interval is equal to the expanded uncertainty of measurement reported on the certificate.

This means that we only pass sieves which have a high probability of conformance to the standard.

UKAS Calibration Certificates

Each UKAS accredited calibration includes a detailed calibration certificate providing objective evidence of sieve performance. Certificates include measured aperture values, associated measurement uncertainty, traceability statements, sieve identification details and conformance information where applicable.

These certificates support laboratory quality systems, audits and regulatory compliance, and are internationally recognised under UKAS accreditation.
